On Monday a few of us moved from Coogee to the city. We stayed in hostel called Wake Up, it had air con = heaven! I actually had to sleep in my hoodie one night. This hostel is like a palace compared to Surfside. On Tuesday we caught the ferry over to Manly and set up base for the day at Little Manly beach.

On Wednesday Sophie, Cherrelle, Matt, Travis and Mike headed to the Spot X surf camp before heading to Byron Bay. I decided to stay in Sydney. As I was on my own, I decided to do the Sydney bridge climb! Not every one's cup of tea but it was definitely worth the money in my opinion. The climb started at 1.25pm. First they kitted us out in some sexy all in one suits;
Oh yes I do look like a 10 year old!
My super sexy cap
My climb group consisted of a couple from N.Ireland, two Amercian's just about to graduate and an older couple from England. I felt a bit of an oddball on my own but everyone was really nice and the views were amazing. It was very breezy at the top of the bridge but still around 25 degrees. My suit was huge and when the wind blew I looked and felt like a sumo wrestler. At the very top of the bridge we sang happy birthday to the man from the older couple. We also saw a helicopter over head filming us so we all waved for the cameras. I have one photo from the climb so I will take a picture of it and post soon. I have to warn you, be prepared to be blown away by the hotness of everyone - say CHEESE! We were told by our group leader that a VIP would be climbing after us, I never did find out who it was.
After the climb I met up with Frankie. We went for food and then to the Three Wise Monkeys for a drink. It was lovely to catch up after not seeing each other for so long.
I decided to move to Bondi on Thursday and I'm now staying in a room with some of the other OzIntro people. I went for a drink with Kat (Georgie's friend from uni) and decided I would get as much help and information from her as possible! Unfortunately she is heading over to Perth in 2 weeks.
I didn't get to sleep until 4am! Firstly because the people in the bunk below me were getting a little frisky and secondly because it was so hot. I had to sleep in my bikini and I still felt like all I wanted to do was jump in the sea. I had to sleep on the top bunk for the first time in the trip last night, the bed didn't have side bars and I was petrified I would fall out! I'm now about to go and read my book on the Bondi Pavilion (Eat, Pray, Love - can't really get in to it!).
I still don't know if I'm going to stay in Sydney for a while or head up to Byron on Monday. Everyone here has advised me to stay for a little longer because of the cyclone. Someone help me to decide!!!
