Louise took me to see a rugby league game today, Sydney Roosters V Newcastle Knights. I can't say I understood what was going on but I still had a good time.

I finally got my hair highlighted today at a place called Christopher Hanna. I got a voucher from my room mate Jess which meant I could get highlights, cut and colour for $80! I wanted to go a little darker but I've ended up being just as blonde, oh well. My butt went numb from being there for 4 hours, yes 4 hours...

Tonight I'm going to Sarah's birthday bash at the Strawberry Hills hotel in Surrey Hills, not too far away from Glebe. I'll get some pictures up of the hair and the party.

Which leads me onto Glebe. I've been there a week now, not a massive fan of the hostel but I've booked in for another week. I'm going to search gumtree this weekend and hopefully go and see some places after work. I'm such a rubbish backpacker, I was spoilt at the Manning's!

Last week I went to see 'Something Borrowed' with Edel. Such a chick flick but I needed a bit of girly time. A few of us from work went for drinks on Friday. I had the intention of staying out until 7ish....I got home at 1.30am. Good night.

My boots have arrived! I'm so glad because Sydney is really chilly at the minute. Because of the dark nights and the cold it feels like it should be Christmas!

It's scary to think I have been away from home 4 months next week.

Today, I move to Glebe (a suburb of Sydney close to the CBD). I have loved being with the Manning's and thank them so much for welcoming me in to their home but it's time to move out and be closer to the city. So this morning I have been packing my backpack once again. I'm really not looking forward to sharing a room again! Will keep you posted on how it goes.

What else have I been up to?

I watched and loved the Royal wedding. I'm a geek.

I have started making travel plans for when I leave Sydney. First stop, New Zealand. If anyone wants to come for a month in July, get in touch!

I have ordered boots from ASOS, free shipping to Australia!

I got given a free bottle of Chanel perfume (okay it is from Paddy's market but shhh).

It's Mother's Day in Australia, so Happy Mother's Day once again to my lovely Ma.
